It’s now time for 4 Your Money. We’re joined by David Nelson, CEO of NelsonCorp Wealth Management. Welcome back, David.
David Nelson:
Thanks, Brandy. Appreciate the invite.
Brandy Auterson-Hurst:
There’s been a lot of back-and-forth in the market lately. Where do things stand now?
David Nelson:
Well, yeah, you’re exactly right. It’s been interesting as far as to see, and encouraging, I guess, as far as recently, as far as what’s taken place. We’re seeing a little shift as far as kind of a positive direction. I brought along a chart today, some new toys that we have here that I thought I’d share with folks, kind of looking at, from a momentum standpoint, and color-coded, which makes it a little easier as far as to look at. But what we see in the far right over there is that the momentum is really picking up in a very positive way.
Again, this is a wonderful tool that looks at a lot of different things, and we always talk about the importance of not looking at one item and drawing conclusions from that. But this blends and puts together several different tactical tools as far as that we use, and what it shows is a few months ago that it was kind of red there. If you, again, look at the far right, and then at the very end of the far right, you see some green, and that’s a really good sign as far as looking at trend, looking at what the market, how it’s reacting, and some real positive thoughts.
Brandy Auterson-Hurst:
Okay, so what should investors take away from this?
David Nelson:
Well, I wouldn’t use this, again, as the sole decision-maker, but what we talk about a lot is staying aligned as far as with the trend, as far as in the market. Historically, that’s been a really good move, and what this is basically telling us, as far as looking forward, is that the trend looks very positive. And again, we’re feeling better about the markets today than we have in quite some time.
Brandy Auterson-Hurst:
All right, David. As always, thanks for joining us. If you missed any of our discussion, we’ll make it available for you on OurQuadCities.com.
